Black & Pink Pivot Necklace – Recycled Plastic Kumihimo
This lightweight, sculptural necklace started as an experiment! Woven from recycled plastic grocery bags using the kumihimo braiding technique, it was originally intended to become a bracelet. But after a few twists, turns, and creative pivots, it transformed into something even better: a bold yet minimal necklace.
With a striking black cord accented by a hint of pink, this one-of-a-kind piece is sleek, flexible, and featherlight. The adjustable length makes it easy to wear with a variety of necklines and styles.
Crafted from reclaimed materials and designed with intention, this necklace is part of my ongoing exploration of beauty, play, and sustainability.
Materials: recycled plastic grocery bags, black-plated brass, nylon cord
